Owners Listened, Combined Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Fun, Festive Que Pasa Brand
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - February 5, 2014 - Que Pasa Mexican Cantina, located at 10478 Roosevelt Blvd. in St. Petersburg, is a festive new Mexican restaurant concept offering flavorful ingredients, along with kids’ and vegetarian options, and an expanded bar menu.
Que Pasa is a result of the rebranding of the former Estela’s restaurant in that location. Owner Britt Guyer referred to the previous brand as “tired”.
“What we did,” he said, “was listen to our customers, the relationships we’ve built over the past seven years here, and we let them tell us what they wanted us to do next, what they like.”
After spending about seven months fleshing out and testing ideas, Guyer estimates there are now 20 examples of ingredients and items our customers told us they love. Additionally, several other renovations and upgrades have been made in the restaurant’s dining room and bar areas, as well as in the outdoor seating. Current upgrades throughout the restaurant interior include brighter paint colors, new lighting, an expansive game room, and a new bar redesign.
“We are excited about all the fun people are going to have here - after work, celebrating birthdays, after Little League - with our new, vibrant staff, $1 taco specials, new drink specials, warm tortillas chips and all-new sauces,” Guyer said. “Que Pasa will soon be known for our creative and delicious flavors of Mexico, as well as for our cheerful commitment to providing the very best Mexican dining experience in Tampa Bay.”
Que Pasa’s menu selections feature everything from nachos, queso and salads, to burgers, burritos and fajitas, with great values ranging from $3.96 to $16.96.
All major credit cards are accepted, and Que Pasa take out service is available by calling the restaurant at 727-578-5380. The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
